SDG are adopted in 2015 by 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the target is to achieve by 2030
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are not legally binding

SDG are broader in scope and go further than MDG by addressing root causes of poverty , need for development
SDG Goals are universal and apply to all countries, whereas the MDGs were intended for action in developing countries only

India has volunteered to take part in the Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) and presented its 1st VNR on implementation of SDGs in July, 2017 in the HLPF at United Nations, New York
Draft national SDG indicators are being developed by Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation to regularly track progress of the SDG with base year as 2016.
Indian VNR report focussed on 7 SDGs

Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO), an attached office under NITI Aayog has been nominated as the nodal organization for the implementation of the SDGs

Started with United Nations Millennium Declar ation in 2000 , with a deadline of 2015

The Rwandan genocide, also known as the genocide against the Tutsi in 1994
It was a genocidal mass slaughter of Tutsi in Rwanda by members of the Hutu majority government.
Loss

Ended with the Tutsi-backed and heavily armed Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) led by Paul Kagame took control of the country.

An estimated 20 Lakhs Rwandans, mostly Hutus, were displaced and became refugees.

It was a genocide in which some six million European Jews were killed by Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany, and the World War II collaborators with the Nazis.
The victims included 1.5 million children, and represented about two-thirds of the nine million Jews who had resided in Europe.
A broader definition of the Holocaust includes non-Jewish victims of the Nazi campaign of mass murder, based on other ethnic or biological factors, such as the Romani, Slavs, and the Aktion T4 patients who were mentally and physically disabled.
